Tate's had a sale last weekend, my girlfriend and I went. As some of you know the merchandise in the tent area is 50% to 85% off. There were 8 inch Dunnys in the tent, I bought 2. I'm taking those 2 and creating my own customs from them. The customs will be on display at one of the Broward Libraries for the month of November and then I'll plan to bring them to my first Con of the new year, Mega Con 2010. I'll put the picks up of the custom Dunnys next week.

My grandfather died this last Friday Oct 16th. I was close to him and he was a good man. I've been with my family all this time. I just got back today. I'm a little behind on some work but I'll start that tomorrow. Death helps the living put life in the proper perspective.

Creating something special for the Bear & Bird Halloween Art Group Show! I had bought art project magazine issue # 126 and one of the articles was about paper toys. I never really thought anything about it until I read the article. I thought it would be a great idea to do one for the show. I'm very excited about creating one and also using this knowledge for the future. Not only could it be a great promo item but something to sell at a low price at the Cons. If you're into Character design and the designer toy movement, I strongly recommend you pick up the magazine if there's any left at your local book store.
